I have taught pickleball for three years and love it! I have been playing for about four years. I am a retired ABSS Spanish teacher. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family, go glamping and design digital scrapbooks and shirts.

I am PPR Certified pickleball coach and have been competing in tournaments since 2023. I played in the PPA Daytona pro main draw and earned two silver medals at the Hilton Head Open. Off of the court, I enjoy practicing yoga and tennis.

I’ve been playing pickleball for nearly three years and have spent the past year teaching and coaching the game. I’m currently a junior at Appalachian State University, where I serve as president of the university’s pickleball club. Outside of pickleball, I enjoy playing basketball and relaxing by binge-watching TV shows.

While working as a tennis professional at a swim and racquets club in Greensboro, I began leading both the implementation of a pickleball program and installation of pickleball courts in 2021. Following a move to Winston-Salem as a competitive juniors coach for tennis, I also took over the pickleball program at Westwood Swim and Tennis club in 2023. I have 5 pets. I am a certified pickleball instructor and the lead pickleball instructor at BPC.

Growing up, I played basketball and volleyball before playing indoor soccer in college. My career in sports started at 18 when I began working with youth sports leagues at the YMCA, and I’ve been passionate about creating great sports experiences ever since. Outside of work, I spend a lot of time making sure my beagle, Tater, lives her best life—you may even spot her on our social media from time to time!

Burlington Pickleball Complex will be closed on May 9 from 8am-5:30pm for the Bob Almond Memorial Tournament. We will reopen at 5:30pm for regular play.
